Super Bowl Brings More Planes to Twin Cities

The Twin Cities metropolitan area is welcoming the Super Bowl and associated events next week. Visitors will be coming to our area in planes, trains, and automobiles. This means residents could experience unusual activity and congestion in the skies as well as on the railways and roadways.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) has been preparing its airport system for the expected increased aircraft activity while being mindful of the neighboring communities. The attached factsheets provide details for residents who want to understand how they may be affected by increases in air traffic over their neighborhoods.
