MSP Runway Closures Tonight and Early Morning TomorrowPosted on September 25, 2019
Unusual runway operations are expected to occur late night tonight and early morning tomorrow at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Beginning about 11 p.m. on 9/25/2019 the primary use parallel runways (Runways 12L/30R and 12R/30L) at MSP will need to be closed while maintence crews perform work on the pavement and in the safety areas adjacent to the runways. The work is expected to conclude by 5 a.m. on 9/26/2019. While the parallel runways are closed, aircraft taking off or landing at MSP will be using Runway 17/35, which has a north-south alignment that parallels Cedar Avenue. Non-typical flight patterns may occur during the closure period.
